First you need to start with an idea that has been floating around in the head for several weeks........
Then you take some pretty fabrics and see what works together........
Grab a whole mess of embellishments and beads...........
Blend the fabrics together with one of these for about an hour .........
Next take a few ugly matted wigs (found at the op shop for a bargain of $4 for the 3)
Decide which colour you want to use and add some of these
Make sure no one has run off with any ingredients you want to use
Add lots of the bottled stuff.......
Snip, glue, spray and curl all together until you have something that looks like this....
Add some of these combined.........
mix for about 20 minutes until you get...........
Add the beads to the fabric and throw in a few expletives (because a certain teenager wanted to fix her own skirt so helped herself to mum's needles and took the ONLY one thin enough for beading and then lost it!!! So mum was not happy because not all of the beads would go easily over the end of alternative needle and it took AGES to find ones that would go over)
Add some more beads and a few more expletives (not beacause of the slow going this time but because the lost beading needle was found at the bottom of mums foot!! Beading went a LOT quicker after needle was removed from foot and set to work where it should be!)
Add some paint and fine thread, cover entire surface with moon dust (gliter paint) .............
Add some moonstone chips...........
Allow to simmer and brew for 3 - 4 days and you will end up with........
A goddess inspired doll for my altar to represent Selene the Lunar Goddess
