Past projects

The weather outside is pretty dark and dismal and today I've had a mood to match :(
Got up to a messy house...the kids know how much I love that...and my list of things to make has yet again been pushed to the background.
Rummaging through my draws looking for something to wear....all of which is starting to look long in the tooth....I decided to just have a pajama day and set to work tidying up. Why I bother I have no idea because tomorrow it will look as if I sat on my butt all day and did nothing!
This above...is one of 5 reasons + a husband.. that my house is a mess! She does look as though she's had great fun though. Ahhh gotta love her!

So... instead of feeling like a frump in much need of a makeover and dwelling on all the stuff I am yet to finish and start I thought I would share some pics of projects that I have finished. Luckily my finished work slightly outweighs my UFO's but only just! These are some of the items I couldn't bear to sell and make me happy when ever I see them scattered around my home.
This is one of my favourite dolls. I purchased the pattern and kit off eBay a few years ago and she has been a part of my bedroom ever since. I LOVE anything Victorian. The whole over the top elaborate lace and velvet and heavily embellished gowns *drool* I have one in mind to design myself.

Another project finished and hanging in my bedroom above the bed.

My gorgeous fairy. Have you guessed my favourite colour yet??

A mixed media painting. My Butterfly Maiden. Hand painted butterfly and embellished with gorgeous scrap booking papers and stickers

Letter holder...I know more purple but I can't help it. I love the colour!

Ok so these fairies I found on my computer..I dont actually have them in my home anymore. These are my favourites and every one I have made is sold or given as a gift. I've lost count of how many of these fairies I've made. No two have ever been the same... I really need to make some for myself.

Ok so I have heaps of stuff I have finished. way too much for one posting. I'll need to share more at a later date. I just wish I had more time to finish more. They do get done eventually and I guess the kids wont be little and living at home forever right?

One last set of photos I thought I'd share...a UFO though that has been nagging at me for too long. I started this for Danae before she was born

Maybe I'll get it done in time to pass on to the grand kids.

Time for baths for little peoples and get some tea ready...and I am determined to get a little bit of stitching in before the day is done.

Until next posting take care all

Hi Shelley,
You have sooo many gorgeous creations at your place.
Oh, that babe is very cute in the cloths-some inspiration for art there!
Hm, Purple is also a favourite colour of mine.
Happy creating,
Hugs,
Anna

My baby makes life fun! Can't stay mad at that cute little face...and as you say she was enjoying herself lol. Its when they go quiet you just KNOW they are up to no good and she is VERY inquisitive that one!
