Playing with fibre art

I decided to try my hand at some fibre art. It's something I've wanted to try for quite a while but never got around to. I made some wings to use for a fairy that were a bit too small so I decided that I'd put them to use on a mer~fae instead.

So I spent the day embellishing and beading and came up with this design that I turned into a bag.....

Bits of lace and seed beads.............

silk ribbons and wool roving.......

lots of different fabrics and fibres............

and this beautiful mer~fae MERLINA came to life.

I was really pleased with the results and plan on spending the afternoon playing with some more designs :)
She's up for sale on my WickedlyDivine page on facebook along with some other magickal creations.

Oh my, your bag is beautiful. I would be over the moon if that was my first attempt. You should be very proud of yourself. So much work and so creative.

PS I love all of your wands from an earlier post
