Blogging and the A-team

Has not been a very productive week this past week with my back out of action but now its pretty much back to normal...normal for me at least... I have an afternoon of sewing catch up planned. Right after I watch the new A-team movie and blog at the same time ;)
Can't beat a movie that has Liam Neeson in it......mmmmmmmm Liam Neeson...........

I received a sweet surprise package this week from the lovely Anna My very first just because gift.



She obviously knows what my favourite colour is. This pretty candle now resides in my purple bedroom on my angel altar


Speaking of altars I bought this gorgeous tie dyed muslin baby wrap from Ema Lou the Scarlet Rose Fairy to use on my wiccan altar for the upcoming Litha (Summer Solstice) celebrations. Perfect colours for some summery altar decorating.


She has the most gorgeous tie dyed clothing and I treated myself to a much needed pretty new dress and skirt. Most of my followers wouldn't know that I have been going to Weight Watchers for the past few months and I have lost a grand total of....19 whopping kilos! 8 kilos to go to get back to my normal pre baby self. Can I still call the extra fat I had on me baby weight when my baby is 21 months old???

Little Miss Danae got a bright new sun hat to protect her from the summer sun. We had plenty of it the last few days and now it has disappeared again behind the rain clouds. Not complaining though cause our rainwater tanks are all nearly overflowing :)


Ema Lou also threw in a couple of her dread/head bands which was a nice surprise. I have lots of lovely colourful headwear now.





Also received this week were these two paintings I purchased from CandyLei She has the cutest little folk art paintings. She had these two all wrapped up prettily and Cade had a ball unwrapping them both for himself and Danae.



Also had some charm squares and witchy fabrics arrive in the mail that I plan on putting to good use once I get some Christmas sewing finished now my back can handle it again.


Now I can get back to my machine I whipped up a cushiom to send my dear friend Marie overseas. She asked for a pic of the kids as they must all be growing heaps since she last had a photo. So I took this photo......

printed it on some fabric in sepia tones.............

and turned it into a pretty cushion.

Thought it was a bit more special than just sending her a photo. Now all I have to do is think up some little lies until it arrives to her as to why I haven't sent her an emailed pic;) Maybe my camera is out of action at the moment....

I'm off for some more Liam Neeson..............................................
................................... then more crafting fun with my sewing machine. I sure have missed her.
